Mr. Bill Alexander
Science Teacher
Welcome! This is my sixteenth year teaching science at St. John Vianney High School. Prior to teaching at Vianney, I taught at both Affton High School and Hazelwood East High School. I truly enjoy working with the students and families here at Vianney. As well, I coached the Vianney swimming program from 2001-2016 and was head coach from 2007. It was been very exciting watching all the accomplishments of our Griffins in that time. Currently, I am the Griffin Bocce Club moderator.
BIO: I was born and raised in St. Louis and grew up in South County--attending Mehlville schools through eighth grade. My family moved to Creve Coeur just before I began high school at DeSmet Jesuit High School. After graduating from DeSmet Jesuit, I attended the University of Missouri where I studied biology and environmental sciences. As well, I attended the University of Missouri--St. Louis where I completed my course work in secondary education. I have been married to my wife, Mary, for 17 years and we have three children--twin 15 year old boys and a daughter, 13. |
